Registration Date
Open from October 17th, 2022 through January 18th, 2023

Venue and Time
The artwork will be seen at the 95th Street Library 3015 Cedar Glade Drive, Naperville until March 4th. Winners will be announced on the March 4th ceremony at the library.

Requirements/Requisites
A parent and student signature is required to compete. Entries should be a maximum of 18 inches x
24 inches. Entries should be an original piece of work created by the student and not based on a copyrighted work.

  • The students should use                  to register for this event​

​

  • High school students in the communities of Naperville, Joliet, and Aurora are invited to submit an original piece of artwork on the theme of “Selfless”.

​

  • Judges will select First, Second, and Third place winners of the competition. These winners will be granted monetary prizes: First Place $1,000, Second Place $500, Third Place $250.

  • The monetary prizes will be in U.S. Savings bonds to be used for post high school education. The winning artworks will be photographed and printed onto panels for display on Gold Star Garden boxes.

  • A maximum of 50 entries will be selected to be displayed

​

  • The artwork may use the media of painting (oil, watercolor, or acrylic), drawing (pencil, pen, charcoal, pastels), photography, digital art, or a collage of mixed media.
