OLI Donates Raised Garden Beds to the Northern Illinois Food Bank in Rockford, IL

OLI traveled to Rockford Illinois on 7/6/2020.

One of our mural painted raised garden beds was donated to the Northern Illinois Food Bank of Rockford. The art work features Rosie the Riveter, painted by Artist Nancy Turner. The bed was purchased by Dianne McGuire and donated to the Food Bank.

We were met by two of the Food Banks employees, Teresa Schryver and Todd Reuben.

The Bed will provide a beautiful display of flowers and vegetables. OLI sends a special thank you to Gina Gramarosso for her hard work in making this project a success!
