David Stevens is an attorney. He's a former prosecutor, having worked for Dupage and Kane County's state attorney. David has extensive trial experience. He currently runs a successful law practice as a defense attorney, has repeated clients in a wide range of cases. He is very skilled in the area of Family law. David received a law degree from Northern Illinois University College of Law when he graduated with honor. He took first place at the College of laws mediation advocacy competition while participating as a member of the trial and negotiations. David is also very active in his community. In addition to being on the OLI board he had volunteered with the lawyer lending a hand, serving meals at the DuPage Conway Link Center, painting rooms for a grand project at the Glen Ellyn Community Learning Center. He has helped at the People's Resource Center in Wheaton. Prior to his legal career, David was the public school teacher for eight years. He is excited to tackle his move on with OLI.
